“Sentier des Archives” is a cotton and viscose velvet that is both elegant and technical. Its short pile is first dyed – in shell, taupe or khaki colors – and then worked to give it a stone-washed appearance. Its stylish and curved Art Deco-style pattern, is created using a traditional engraved cylinder that stamps the fabric, to allow the golden lamination to be applied on the surface of the velvet. A finishing technique gives this lamination a deceptively-cracked, vintage look. This exquisite velvet is ideally for beautifully draping curtains, decorative seating and other decorative pieces, such as cushions.
