It is to King Louis IX, whose coat of arms featured the fleur-de-lis, that Île Saint-Louis owes its name. Also known as the “Island of Palaces” due to the presence of numerous private mansions, this island in the heart of Paris inspires a motif representing a blossoming of flowers. This satin jacquard is enhanced by a heat-shrink yarn giving it volume and texture, and a lurex yarn that follows the contours of the pattern. The presence of linen in the weft brings a natural material effect to the fabric. Highly contemporary in the scale of its design, this fabric has been reissued and enriched with new colorways: nacre, praline, yellow, ash grey and navy.
