It begins with the tentative chirping of one bird. Then a whole chorus erupts from these imaginary trees, coloured like the feathers of peacocks and birds of paradise. “Voyage imaginaire” introduces a landscape at dawn, when nature reawakens. With small Impressionist strokes, the colours come together and merge into flamboyant bushes. Dawn breaks to reveal the beauty of the landscape and, on the fabrics, plumage, colours and foliage become one.
