Rope-making is rooted in ancient artisanal traditions tied to local natural resources. In Indonesian, it is known as “Tali.” Plant fibers are twisted and braided to form the structure of baskets and other woven items. It inspires an embroidered pattern on a fabric composed of cotton, viscose, and linen that possesses the visual qualities of silk. The viscose and lurex threads give the fabric a silky appearance. TALI coordinates with the “RACINE ” wallpaper and is available in four color combinations: ice blue / yellow, mahogany / orange, khaki / wine lees color, cognac / “sarcelle” blue.
